It has become public that popular American rapper known as Wiz Khalifa is set to face nine months in a Romanian prison for weed related issues, although the sentence has not been finalized as Wiz Khalifa’s legal team has begun the process of appealing the decision in a bid to secure an alternative outcome.
This recent development is coming after an incident which happened sometime in July 2024, when the rapper was arrested after performing at the Beach Please Festival in Costinești. Wiz Khalifa was seen smoking weed on stage while dancing to “The Next Episode” by Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s song.
Wiz Khalifa is now charged under the country’s strict drug laws, which criminalize the possession and use of cannabis. This alone is sure to make the appeal process potentially challenging.
