Barack Obama has finally released the list of his favorite songs for the year 2025 and this time around it features Olamide’s ‘99’, Burna Boy’s ‘TaTaTa’. Taking to social media to share the list of songs, the former US president said “As 2025 comes to a close, I’m continuing a tradition that I started during my time in the White House: sharing my annual lists of favourite books, movies, and music” I hope you find something new to enjoy — and please send any recommendations for me to check out!”
Recall that in 2024, the former president also featured Nigerian songs like Rema’s “Yayo” and Asake’s collaboration with Travis Scott, “Active” in the list of his favorite songs
