Award winning rapper popularly known as AKA has been shit dead in Durban, South Africa on Friday, February 10.
The rapper whose real name is real name is Kiernan Forbes was based in Johannesburg but into Durban earlier on February 10th for his birthday party which was supposed to hold at a nightclub identified as Yugo Nightclub where he asked his fans on social media to turn up for the party.
News has it that two hours before he was killed, AKA went to Fish Restaurant on Florida Road with some of his friends and his bodyguard and reviewed his location on his Instagram page. After eating, he stepped outside the restaurant and that was when he was killed shortly after 10pm.
Witnesses claim that someone walked up to AKA and shot him 6 times and there are other reports that claim it was a drive-by shooting. That two cars drove by the restaurant as AKA stood outside with friends and was shot dead. A friend standing with him was also killed while his bodyguard was injured in the shooting.
