
Today, the 16th of January 2923, President Buhari will be on his way to Islamic Republic of Mauritania to receive the ‘Africa Award for Strengthening Peace’.
According to a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, it stated that the award would be conferred on the President for his leadership role in promoting peace on the continent through regular interventions, counsel and conciliatory position.
He also said the President will be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Minister of Defence, Bashir Salihi Magashi; National Security Adviser, Mohammed Monguno; and Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.
