Its all joy as Mayorkun’s pendant which was stolen on the 19th of december 2023 in Calabar has been returned.
Recall that the singer went to the state to perform as he was invited by the state government and his jewelries were stolen, expressing his anger he came online to condemn the act and vowed neber to return to Calabar again after describing the incident as a nightmare.
After pledging the sum of 5million naira to anyone who returns it, his colleague popularly known as Iyanya has given an update saying that the pendant has been found.
Iyanya said;
“Thank you to my Calabar people for doing what’s right. # Mayorkun’s second pendant has been found.
“This morning,g we got a call that it was returned to #HitFMCalabar and was received by Mr. Duke Emmanuel who later transferred the pendant to Hon. Effiong Ekpenyong MNIPR, FCAI Special Adviser Events Management, Governors Office, Calabar.
“We are and will remain a peaceful and hospitable state, Cross River State. Thank you.”
