A certain man identified as Marcel Udeh has has reportedly shot and killed his son over food at Eziama Lokpaukwu village in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.
According to reports, the son ate the only food left without permission, the father then rushed into his room, brought out his gun and shot the son which killed him instantly.
According to the Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Maureen Chinaka, the suspect has been arrested. The matter has been transferred to the SCID for discreet investigation and will be charged to court afterwards,” the PPRO said.
A video shared online showed the father with both hands tied and placed on the son’s lifeless body.
