Premier League champions Liverpool FC have expressed deep sorrow over the untimely death of their beloved forward, Diogo Jota, who tragically passed away at the age of 28 following a fatal car accident in Spain.
According to reports, Jota and his younger brother, André Silva, 26, were involved in a devastating road traffic collision during the early hours of Thursday morning near the city of Zamora, Spain. Both lost their lives in the tragic accident.
The heartbreaking news comes just two weeks after Jota tied the knot with his longtime partner and mother of his three children, Rute Cardoso, in a private ceremony held in Porto, Portugal.
