IMSU Partner JUPEB on Direct Entry Program for 2022/2023 academic session

Imo state university Owerri in conjunction with joint universities preliminary examination board has launched a 1 year academic session of two semesters, to admit students into its 200 level programme. Currently, sale of forms for the programme has since started from 13th of November 2022. In a release made available to newsmen in owerri the state capital of Imo state, states that applications into the programme for the 2022/2023 programme is on going from suitably qualified candidates into the IMSU/ JUPEB programme for the award of certificates to enable them qualify for direct level 200 programme in the institution and other universities in Nigeria and beyond. The programme is for the following facilities of law, management, medicine, health sciences, applied science, engineering and social sciences. The courses offered are CRS, Literature, government for the faculty of law, while Business Administration, Marketing an economics are offered for the faculty of management. Also, there are openings for biochemistry, chemistry, physics for the department of Medicine and health sciences, while Materials engineering, chemistry and physics are also offered in the faculty of applied sciences. Literature, CRS, Government and History is as well offered in the faculty of social sciences. The release further stated that candidates intending to apply inti these programme should have a minimum qualification of 5 credits with credit in English and mathematics obtained from not more than 2 sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB. Upon admission the candidate is expected to choose 3 subjects relevant to the chosen course of study. The release stress that interested applicants are to pay 10,000 ( Ten Thousand Naira only) for the purchase of forms and subsequently 30,000 ( Thirty thousand naira only) as registration fee to Imo state university micro finance bank and submit the teller to the JUPEB office on Imo state university and wait for further instructions.
