
It has been reported that on Sunday by 6pm, two gunmen on a motor cycle has reportedly killed a Point of Sale operative identified as Mutiu Salako in the at Oke Lantoro in Abeokuta Ogun State.
Message going viral indicates that the incident is linked to cult-related killing, but Omolola Odutola who is the police spokesperson confirmed the incident as a case of robbery on Monday. Going further he said that during the raid of the area, the police has arrested three suspects.
She said;
“According to the report with me, it was the police operatives from Kemta Division that attended to the attack. Two gunmen on a motorcycle shot Mutiu Salako, a PoS operator who later died in the hospital. It was not a case of cult killing, as is being speculated, but attempted murder and three suspects have been arrested after the police raid of the area.”
