Breaking news has it that the governor of Ondo state who is Rotimi Akeredolu has been reported dead today, news has it that he died after a long battle with prostate and leukemia in Lagos state.
The sad news was disclosed by close family member who said “They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week.” Recall that the governor who was 67 years old returned to Nigeria in September after his three-month medical leave in Germany. The sick governor proceeded on another medical leave after he was asked by president Tinubu to hand over power to his deputy Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
When he returned in September, he stayed back at in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital and tried to govern his state from there, leading to public outrage.
