It has been reported that Ganiyu Aikore has allegedly impregnated his 17 year old daughter in the Mokola Isale Tapa area of Abeokuta, the state capital.
News has it that after he got the young daughter pregnant, he went to a pharmaceutical store to buy abortion drugs for her, after suspecting that the father wants to terminante the pregnancy, the daughter and other residents went to chairman of the community to report the incident.
The chairman took the daughter to the Adatan Police Division to file complaints against the father. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, said Aikore was suspected to have had carnal knowledge of his daughter, adding that the pregnancy was precisely 23 weeks.
