It has been reported that, some operatives of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission stormed into the headoffice of Dangote in Lagos State Nigeria.
TheCable reported that the anti-graft agency’s operatives went to carry out a search on forex allocations to the company during the tenure of Godwin Emefiele as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
Dele Oyewale who is the EFCC spokesman has declined the reports, but an employee of the a Dangote Group confirmed that the EFCC operatives stormed their office. He also confirmed that the EFCC operatives asked for documents on forex transactions with the CBN,”
