A woman who recently came under fire for defending side chics and second wives has explained why she refuses to condemn women involved with married men.
Golden Ngozika sparked controversy on Facebook after she defended a woman who married a man who was already married.
The controversy began after the man’s first wife called out her husband over his alleged failure to pay the school fees of their five children. The second wife subsequently became involved in the dispute, with Ngozika publicly taking her side.
Some social media users also pointed out that Ngozika had previously defended Judy Austin following her marriage to actor Yul Edochie.
Responding to the criticism, Ngozika said she would never stand in the way of another woman’s happiness, regardless of whether the woman is involved with a married man.
She explained that she would not insult or attack another woman simply because a man chose to be with her.
In a Facebook post, she wrote:
“If you like be a home builder or home breaker is none of my business because I Golden will Neva stand against anyone happiness.
“So if you are following me don’t expect me to start insulting my fellow woman over a man that chooses her or another.
“Even as I type my husband side check (sic) Dey here they read my comment.”
Her comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with some users supporting her position while others criticised her for appearing to justify relationships with married men.
