The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God known as Pastor Enoch Adeboye visited president Buhari yesterday August 31.
The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo and the Chief of staff Ibrahim Gambari were also present to receive the General Overseer in the Statehouse.
Adeboye’s visit comes amidst the controversy generated by the newly signed CAMA law that enables the Federal government to remove and replace the board of trustees of any church
While some clergymen have thrown their weight behind the new law, others like Bishop David Oyedepo and Apostle Suleman have come out to vehemently oppose it.
Adeboye is yet to publicly comment on the new law.
