#JusticeForLeo: Youths protests against illegal detention and Harassment

The youths of Imo State have taken to the streets of owerri to protest about the illegal detention and harassment by the officers of security in outfits.

The protest began after a young man whose name is Micah Yakubu, but Popularly known as Mika or Leo, was allegedly kidnapped and whisked away to Anambra State by suspected Security Officers on uniform and later killed.

The deceased before he taken away by the men on uniform was last seen at a popular hotel(Willow Wood hotel) along the Orlu road, amakohia in Imo State.

Reports reaching Henryxclusive is that the deceased was robbed off his money and his car, Lexus ES350 sold and a N4million ransom was also demanded by the suspected killers.

The family and friends of the victim have taken to streets of owerri on a peaceful protest against the illegal detention and harassment of young people by the Security agencies.

They went to Police Headquarters in Owerri, where they got a reply from one of top officers as he assured them that he’ll look into the matter.

As at the time of this report, one of the suspected killers have been arrested and undergoing investigation.
