The owner of OnlyFans has died after a long battle with cancer at the age of 43, this was made public by his company on Monday in a recent statement.
According to a statement by a spokesperson, “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky,”
“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”
Leonid Radvinsky acquired OnlyFans’ parent company, Fenix International, in 2018 and went on to serve as the platform’s majority shareholder and director until his death.
The platform itself was originally created by British father-and-son duo Guy Stokely and Tim Stokely as a space where creators could earn directly from subscribers.
OnlyFans saw massive growth during the COVID-19 pandemic, as lockdowns pushed both creators and users online.
According to Bloomberg, the platform recorded a peak of $7.2 billion in user spending in 2024. Between 2021 and 2025, Radvinsky reportedly paid himself $1.8 billion in dividends.
He had also been exploring a sale of the platform last year, but reports from New York Post indicated that he faced difficulties finding a buyer.
