How Joeboy Reacted To Asa’s N300million Copyright Infringement Notice

Popular artiste known as Joeboy has finally reacted to the copyright infringement notice sent to him by Asa.

Recall that Joeboy received a copyright infringement notice from Asa few weeks after he dropped his song titled Contour sometime in August, the song was produced by Tempoe.

According to the notice which was served on September 30th, 2022, “Contour” infringed on the copyright of a musical composition which was created by Asa in a recording session which took place on September 22, 2020, with Tempoe in attendance at that said session. The notice demanded that Joeboy removes the song from all digital platforms within twenty-four hours, issue a written apology, pay N300 million, and assign Asa a sixty-percent publishing split.

Joeboy reacted by daring Asa to do something as the time given to him has elapsed. He posted on his Instagram;

“Cos I dey always do love and light you think sey I be soft meat.”

He added: “You said I have 24 hours, it’s been 48hours, do something.”
